Inside Out: Men Behind Bars is based on months of engaged ethnographic research funded by the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research and awarded to Linda Green, an anthropologist at the University of Arizona, who worked with incarcerated students to document their daily lives. In partnership with The Invisible Theatre, the men’s insights into the everyday realities of incarceration are powerfully brought to life through public theatre.
